OOCL Introduces Service to the Eastern Mediterranean

In the fourth quarter 2006, OOCL Trans Atlantic Trade introduced a new service between the US East Coast and the East Mediterranean deploying the AEX Loop over the gateway of Gioia Tauro. This service links Savannah, Norfolk, New York and Halifax with Istanbul and Izmir, Turkey, Piraeus and Thessalonica, Greece, Haifa and Ashdod, Israel.

This emerging market offers considerable potential for customers, both Export and Import, and OOCL welcomes the opportunity to provide service through this expanded product scope.
