OOCL Wins CIFFA Forwarder's Choice Awards 2007 for Outstanding Ocean Service and Commitment

OOCL was the proud winner of the 2007 Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association's Western region's Forwarder's Choice Awards for Outstanding Ocean Service and Commitment between Canada and the Far East and Europe. This is the second consecutive year for OOCL's Western Division to win this award.
Every year the three CIFFA regions award a prize for service quality, transit times and reliability to the best shipping and air-freight companies on the most important trade routes. The nominations are based on a survey of the association’s members and verification by an independent commission.
In a personal letter to all his colleagues, Mr. David Watson, President of OOCL Canada says, "Congratulations to you all !! This award of Excellence by the Freight Forwarding Industry in Western Canada is an indictment reflective of all your hard work, "Take It Personally" attitude and positive customer relationship which has deservedly earned this most prestigious recognition for OOCL for two years in a row as "Carrier of the Year - Ocean 2007". "
Since 1999, OOCL has accepted nine awards from CIFFA Central Region, four from CIFFA Eastern Region and one from CIFFA Western Region, including ten as the Best Ocean Carrier between Canada and Far East, two as the Best Ocean Carrier between Canada and Europe and three times as the "Ocean Carrier of the Year."
CIFFA was founded in Montreal as early as 1948, to establish a professional level in the industry, with uniform quality standards. Today the association is divided into three regions – West, East and Central Canada.
