Customer Advisory: Port of Houston Update

The Port of Houston Authority Turning Basin and all its other terminals with the exception of Barbours Cut and Bayport Container Terminals will resume normal business operations Thursday, September 18 at 7:00 a.m.

Barbours Cut and Bayport Terminals continue to work with CenterPoint Energy to establish power to its terminals.          
          
The welfare and safety of PHA's employees, customers and neighbors is always its first priority.
                                                                                                                                     
PHA will update its status regarding business operations on the PHA Hotline 713-670-2870 and on its Web sites www.portofhouston.com and www.phastatus.com daily.

RCS: Normal power was restored on Wed. They are bringing in full staff or as close as they can to perform business as usual (as much as possible).

Eagle Trans: Still without normal power. They had major elec. Pole and transformer damage in the area and it could be several more days. They have a few staff members available to handle any emergency situations.

BNSF: Is operational from 7:00a – 7:00P however they are only operating off of generator power.

Trucking: TransGulf has 30%-40% of their drivers available. Transporter does not have power and is working to contact their drivers to see what power might be available. Many drivers seem to be waiting to see if/when the terminal and depots open. BTT, TCI and Gulfwinds also have some drivers available.
