OOCL congratulates Art Merrick on retirement and Anthony Otto as new president of LBCTI

Art Merrick, President of Long Beach Container Terminal Inc. (LBCTI) will retire on April 30, 2008. Art has been President of LBCTI since 1999, and has demonstrated great commitment in leading the terminal to become the most efficient in Southern California.

Succeeding Art as President of LBCTI will be Anthony Otto, effective May 1, 2008. Anthony, as current Vice President of Operations , has been instrumental in LBCTI’s transformation, and is well-equipped to take over all aspects of the terminal’s operations.

OOCL, as owner and operator of LBCTI, wishes to extend our very best wishes to Art Merrick on his retirement and our warm congratulations to Anthony Otto on his new appointment.
