Customer Advisory: Hazardous Goods via Port of Houston

Please note that the Port of Houston Authority (POHA) has advised effective September 1st they will be implementing a paperless hazardous pre-advise system. The goal of POHA is to improve the safety of the facilities as well as creating greater efficiencies for the trucker at the gate for processing hazardous containers by having hazardous paperwork emailed to the port 24 hours prior to cargo delivery.

Customers will be required to submit their dg documentation to [email protected] in addition to the individual shipping lines for all dg shipments via Houston load ports

This means for all dg shipments via Houston gateway (GMX and GAX Services) customers are required to submit their dg documentation to [email protected] in addition to [email protected] (or [email protected] for LGB registered shipments).

Please be guided accordingly.
