Customer Advisory:  US Port, Terminal and Rail  schedule during Christmas 2009  

Christmas holiday is celebrated in the USA and Canada Friday, December 25 ,2009.   Please be advised of the following operating hours at the US and Canada terminals during the Christmas holidays.


Christmas Holiday:  
USA:       ILWU Stop on December 24 1500 and resume Dec 26 0700 hr
Canada:  ILWU Stop on December 24 1200 and resume Dec 26 0100 hr

Rail Schedule:

Christmas holiday is celebrated in the USA and Canada Friday, December 25. Customers should expect up to 72 hour transit delays from Wednesday, December 23 through Monday, December 28 as USA and Canada railroads operate fewer trains over the holiday period.

New Year’s holiday is celebrated in the USA and Canada Friday, January 1. Customers should expect up to 72 hour transit delays from Wednesday, December 30 through Monday, January 4 as USA and Canada railroads operate fewer trains over the holiday period.

Most North American rail road companies will close Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day. Throughout the two four-day weekend periods, rail carriers will only have limited staff available. For specific rail terminal operating hours, customers should contact local rail terminal.
