Customer Advisory:  OOCL Will Use DCLI Chassis at Long Beach Container Terminal – Long Beach, CA

Please note that OOCL will use Direct Chassis Link Inc. (DCLI) chassis for all imports and exports in and out of Long Beach Container Terminal Inc (LBCTI) effective with the SSX OOCL Tianjin (OTJ) voyage 063 (ETA September 5th, 2011).  LBCTI import pick up and empty release for export bookings will be structured as follows:

Export
· Empty dry equipment release at LBCTI – effective 8/30/2011
· Laden dry equipment receiving at LBCTI – effective 8/30/2011
· Empty reefer equipment release at Conglobal – effective 9/1/2011
· Laden reefer equipment receiving at LBCTI – effective 9/1/2011

Import
· Dry and reefer containers to be picked up on DCLI chassis – effective 9/6/2011

Important notes for our customers and the trucking community:
· Motor carriers should instruct drivers not to use the Grand Alliance Chassis Pool (GACP) chassis at LBCT for OOCL exports after August 30st (September 1st for reefer) and September 6th for imports.
· As a reminder all empty equipment release & return locations for the LA/LGB area are communicated with OOCL’s equipment broadcast and hotline at 562-499-2647.  Motor carriers are encouraged to review the email broadcast or call this number daily for any equipment updates.
· At this time motor carriers are not required to register on line with DCLI for OOCL containers originating and/or terminating at LBCT.

This change with chassis providers is specific to OOCL at LBCT only.
