Customer Advisory: Inbound Operation Restrictions during National Day Holiday in South China
We would like to remind you that during the forthcoming South China National Day holiday, there will be operation restrictions for import shipments in South China (including Guangdong、Guangxi, Hainan & Yunan) as follows:
- For Hainan/ Guangxi/ Yunan and “Pearl River Delta” ports, including but not limited to Huangpu/ Foshan/ Sanshui/ Guangzhou/ Zhanjiang/ Zhongshan/ Zhuhai/ Jiangmen/ Shantou/ Huizhou/ Dongguan, all inbound Hazardous shipments will be prohibited from September 21 to October 7, 2011.
- For Shenzhen ports including Shekou/ Yantian/ Chiwan / Da Chan Bay, import operations are same as usual.
- For some “Pearl River Delta” ports, the feeder service will be suspended during the holiday:
- Jiujiang,Nanhai/ Rongqi,Shunde/ Xinfeng,Guangzhou/ Gaosha,Jiangmen/ Waihai,Jiangmen/ Sinotrans,Zhongshan/ Jiao Xin,Guangzhou, the service will be suspended from October 1 to October 7, 2011.
Any demurrage/ detention incurred at trans-shipment port will be for account of cargo due to such restrictions during the National Day holiday period.
