Customer Advisory - New Off Dock Empty Container Yard (ODCY) East Blair 1 (EB1) in Tacoma is now operating for dry containers

Washington United Terminal (WUT) will be opening an ODCY at EB1, which is located across the Blair Waterway and to the south.  The physical address is 2340 Alexander Ave., Tacoma, WA 98421.  Access from I-5 is from Taylor Way, to Lincoln Ave., and south on Alexander Ave.  Hours of operation are 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM (in gate will close at 4:30 PM) Mon-Fri, excluding holidays.

Only dry equipment will be handled at EB1.
    Exceptions:

  • No 45’ containers to be returned or released from EB1.
  • No empty reefer to be returned or released at EB1 at this time.

WUT will provide handouts to drivers and information is also available on the WUT website.
