Demurrage & Detention
Demurrage: Application of OOCL on terminal demurrage will be suspended in line with application by the New York terminals, with the demurrage clock stopped for the period of October 29, 2012 through November 4, 2012 with the clock resuming November 5th.
Detention:
- For Transatlantic Trade cargo loading/discharging at ports in New York/New Jersey area, counting of detention free time will be exempted from November 5, 2012 through November 9, 2012 inclusively due to weather disruption at ports.
- For Transpacific Trade cargo loading at ports in New York/New Jersey area, counting of detention free time will be exempted from November 2, 2012 through November 9, 2012 inclusively due to weather disruption at ports.
