Customer Advisory: Equipment Returns to the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach
Due to the ILWU work stoppage at the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, we are requesting cargo interest to please hold all OOCL equipment in your possession until the strike is over, and the terminals reopen.
Demurrage and detention free time will be extended for all OOCL containers and cargo still within free time when the strike began. If free time had already expired at the start of the strike at the terminal facility, the pre-existing demurrage and or detention daily charges would continue to accrue.
