Vancouver and Montreal Port Gateway Intermodal Service Update

OOCL has chosen CN Rail as the primary intermodal partner for all containers moving via Canadian gateways. Commencing January, 2014 all OOCL intermodal import and export containers moving to and from Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Chicago and Detroit will utilize the CN Rail network. Note: Regina and Minneapolis rail service will remain unchanged.

Effective vessels via Vancouver Gateway:
     • PNX Service: OOCL Atlanta Voyage 066, ETA January 7th 
     • NWX Service: Vienna Express Voyage 025, ETA January 10th

Effective vessels via Montreal Gateway: 
     • GEX1 Service: MSC Alyssa Voyage 073, ETA January 16th 
     • GEX2 Service: OOCL Montreal Voyage 240, ETA January 20th

For export shipments originating from any of the above rail loading terminals, in addition to submitting a rail billing request to OOCL, a train reservation from CN Rail is also required which can be obtained on-line at www.cn.ca, and arranged up to six (6) calendar days prior to origin rail cutoff date.
