Customer Advisory: Hurricane Dorian Disruption on the U.S. East Coast - Final Update
Further to our previous advisories regarding Hurricane Dorian, the storm continues to travel northeastward along the U.S. east coast toward Nova Scotia, Canada.
On Monday, September 9th, our Charleston, SC office will reopen.

Below are the final marine terminal updates:
Port Closures
- Miami, FL – South Florida Container Terminal – Reopened on Wednesday, 9/4.
- Savannah, Ga – Georgia Ports Authority
- Reopened today, 9/6.
- Open Saturday and Sunday (9/7-9/8) for DRY gates.
- Charleston, SC – Wando Terminal/North Charleston Container Terminal – South Carolina State Ports
- Reopened today, 9/6.
- Open Saturday and Sunday (9/7-9/8) for DRY gates.
- Norfolk, VA – Norfolk International Terminal/Virginia International Gateway
- All terminal truck gates in Hampton Roads are CLOSED today, 9/6.
- On Saturday, 9/7, NIT, VIG and the RSA Chassis Yard in Portsmouth will open at 0700 hours, with portal closure at 1700 hours.
- Montreal, QC
- Extreme weather warnings are in effect for all areas of the Gulf of St Lawrence which will delay vessel arrivals.

- Halifax, NS
- The approaching storm is expected to pass close to Halifax.
- Operational restrictions are in force throughout the weekend and out-of-hours delivery and pick-up will not be possible.
- Vessel operations are planned to resume on Sunday.
- The resumption of vessel and gate operations is subject to the necessary safety assessments and recovery of any equipment affected by wind or storm surge at the terminal.
