Port of Montreal Update
Earlier this morning, the Longshoreman (CUPE Local 375) issued a notice declaring a general unlimited strike action, commencing on Monday, August 10, 2020 at 07:00 am. This is a general strike notification with an indefinite period of time, and will impact many marine terminals in the Port of Montreal. Based on this notification, please be aware of the following updates to the below terminal schedules:
Montreal Gateway Terminals
Export Truck Gates will close today, August 7, 2020 at 10:00 am.
Import Truck Gates will also close today, August 7, 2020 at 11:00 pm.
Weekend Gates – The terminal has made the decision to cancel their weekend gates.

Termont Terminals
Please note that we have now been advise that Termont Terminal has CLOSED the Export Gate for all vessels. As such no more exports will be accepted at Termont.
Weekend Gates – The terminal will only be open to accommodate the movement of IMPORT cargo (Between August 8-9 from 07:00 am until 03:00 pm).

Port of Montreal Vessel diversions
Due to announced planned strike actions, and ongoing labor unrest in the Port of Montreal, there will be two upcoming vessels operating in our Trans-Atlantic Gateway service that will be diverted to Halifax:
(GEX2) Montreal Express V. 318 W- will now be calling Halifax CERES with an ETA of August 11, 2020.
(GEX1) OOCL Belgium 509 W- will now be calling Halifax PSA, ETA August 15, 2020.
If you currently have cargo arriving or is booked outbound on either of these voyages, additional information and details will be provided to you under separate notification.
