As previously reported, Montreal Terminals continue to experience congestion; with the expectation that inbound cargo moving via the rail can have excessive delays.

Halifax Terminal Congestion
As you are aware, due to labor disruptions that took place in the port of Montreal in August 2020, a number of vessels were diverted to the Port of Halifax. While congestion caused by a large influx of cargo arriving via a non-standard gateway was expected, due to the volume of diverted vessels, excessive dwell times continue to be experienced. While efforts are ongoing to prioritize dwelling cargo, current estimated delays of departure of cargo that is currently sitting in Halifax are projected to extend into October 2020.
