This Equipment Maintenance Charge will protect consignee from equipment repair and damage costs up to USD100 per 20' and USD200 per 40' & 45’ container of General Cargo & Special Commodities (*). Payable by consignee prior to release of cargo.
If equipment repair and damage exceed as USD100 per 20' and USD200 per 40' & 45’ container as above mentions, Consignee is fully liable for actual equipment repair and damage costs less the aforesaid Equipment Maintenance Charge
(#) Late Collection Fee – For all Vietnam Inbound shipment: 1% of total outstanding charge amount under “Freight & Charges Collect” per Delivery Order (D/O), or minimum VND650,000 per D/O per week, whichever is higher, applicable when the charges under “Freight & Charges Collect” outlined on the invoice issued on/before actual ship arrival date have not been settled: 1.) for non-credit customer, within 07 days of vessel arrival date (i.e. actual vessel arrival date + 6 calendar days); or 2.) for credit customer, within agreed credit period. If there is invoice adjustment, this charge will be applicable when the adjusted outstanding charges have not been settled: 1.) within 07 days after revised invoice is issued (i.e. revised invoice due date + 6 calendar days); or 2. ) for credit customer, within agreed credit period.
