This is to inform all concerned parties that today (16 August, 2010), the TENTH DAY after the collision between MSC CHITRA and KHALIJIA III, the situation at the port of Nhava Sheva is starting to recover although full operations have not yet resumed due to the oil spill. The navigation of vessels is now only limited to day time and the port should be fully operational by Saturday. Currently the Navy is deciding which vessels should enter and depart.
