Situation at the Port of Nhava Sheva, India - Update 17 August, 2010


This is to inform all concerned parties that on 17 August, 2010, the ELEVENTH DAY after the collision between MSC CHITRA and KHALIJIA III, traffic in NHV channel is moving slowly and vessel movements are carried out only during day time (up to 1900hrs). No sailing is allowed after 1600hrs on Tuesday. The navy has given a draft restriction for Tuesday 17 and Wednesday 18.

Draft restriction for Tuesday is: 10.8 meter (IN) and 11.2 meter (OUT)

Draft restriction for Wednesday is: 10.8 meter (IN & OUT)
