We would like to remind customers that requests for shipment destinations to be changed are liable to a fee.
The detailed tariff rule can be found on our website here, however in simple terms the charges are:- - $200 per B/L administrative fee for a change in Port of Discharge and Final Destination, + any additional costs incurrent at a container level
- $200 per B/L administrative fee for just a change in inland Final Destination necessitating re-rating
There is no fee for changing the Final Destination from a CY to a Door delivery.
To avoid these charges, customers are encouraged to communicate with their overseas partners to ensure cargo is booked (and B/L's issued) to the correct Final Destination from the outset.
