Bangladesh IB DG shipments mandatory to mention PSN/Technical Name in B/L

As per Customs, for all BAN IB Dangerous Goods, B/L and Manifest must mention Proper Shipping Name, Technical Name/Chemical Name. Without these information DG cannot be applied. The Approval Authority Bangladesh Navy will not give approval on DG items per manifest in Asycuda World (AW) System.

Business Identification Number is mandatory to mention in B/L, L/C and other Shipping documents

As per circular of Bangladesh Customs and Bangladesh Bank, Importer's BIN (VAT Number) is mandatory to mention in all kinds of import documents like B/L, L/C, Invoice, Packing list with Importer’s name and address. Bank Head Office BIN# is mandatory if the shipment is consigned to bank. Freight Forwarder’s AIN (Agent Identification Number) is also mandatory to mention in B/L. Please mention Importer's BIN, Bank's BIN & Freight Forwarder’s AIN while sending Booking and SI for import shipment to Bangladesh.

German Authority’s Requirement for HS Code for all Cargoes Entering or to be Transshipped at German Ports

According to the European Commission’s directive and adopted by German’s authority, with immediate effect, HS Code should be provided for all cargoes entering or to be transshipped at German ports to facilitate the veterinary (animal products) inspection by the authority at the ports.
