Mongla Customs House is going on Asycuda World e-manifest implementation from mid April 2014.
Mongla Customs House will implement e-manifestation from mid April 2014. The cargo declaration requirements will be all the same as Chittagong except for DG, MLO Code, Commodity Code are optional.
No Freight Forwarders in Bangladesh are listed yet in Mongla Customs House system, cargo consigned to Freight Forwarders in Bangladesh for FND: Mongla will face cargo declaration/discharging manifest problem.
Hence, B/L for Final Destination Mongla should mention Consignee and Notify Party as per below:
o Scenario 1:
Consignee = To order of Bank.
Notify Party = Actual Importer.
o Scenario 2:
Consignee = Actual Importer.
Notify Party = Actual Importer.
