Bangladesh Government Gazette notification to change the name of CHITTAGONG to CHATTOGRAM is effective from 10.September. 2018
• Bangladesh Government recently circulated a Gazette notification to change the name of CHITTAGONG to CHATTOGRAM and it is effective from 10.September. 2018
• All documents from now onwards to be revised as CHATTOGRAM. ( for example in the B/L , POD/FND : Chattogram CY….)
• But old name can still be used up to at least minimum 3 months with no worries, unless respective import L/Cs are specifically opened & stipulates for imports to Chattogram .
