Combined Import/Export Demurrage and Detention (DD2in1): This charge compensates the use of carrier equipment inside and outside the terminal and depot.

Quay Rent / Storage charge: The charge for containers remaining on the quay/terminal outside the agreed free time.

Reefer monitoring charge: Reefer plug in charge for containers on the quay

Currency/Rate: Port Said East (SCCT), DP World Sokhna, AICT Alexandria, and AICT El Dekheila are charged in US Dollars. Any terminals not mentioned will be charged at an equivalent rate of US Dollars.

** Consignee shall settle the storage directly to the terminal, except inbound into Alexandria, El Dekheila and Port Said East (SCCT)​

Milestone

Outbound Combined Demurrage and Detention (DD2in1) shall commence at 00:00 hrs on the first calendar day when an empty container is picked up from the carrier's facility and end at 23.59 hrs on the day of vessel departure.

Outbound Storage shall commence on the day of laden gate-in to the terminal and end on the day of vessel departure.

Inbound Combined Demurrage and Detention (DD2in1) shall commence on the day of vessel arrival and end on the day of empty return to the carrier's facility. 

Inbound Storage shall commence on the day of vessel arrival and end of the day of gate out.
