ANNOUNCEMENT

Requirement on the Shipper’s Declaration for
Dangerous Cargo and Container Packing Certificate

Dear Customers

We would like to bring you the attention that, according to International Maritime Organization (IMO) requirement, a correct and complete Dangerous Goods Transport Documents & Container Packing Certificate is requested to provide to OOCL one working day before CY cut-off time for declaration, information included but not limited as following:

  • The proper Shipping Name & its component
  • The UN# & IMO Classification
  • Carrier Booking Number
  • Vessel Voyage 
  • Port of Loading, Port of Discharge and Final Destination 
  • Container Number and Seal Number
  • Outer Packaging
  • Gross / Net Weight (KGS)
  • Shipper & Consignee Name and Address
  • 24-Hour Emergency Inbound Contact Person and Contact Number
  • Both the "Shipper Declaration" and "Containr Packing Declaration" must be signed, dated and stamped with company chop.

Shipper and or its agent is reminded to provide the accredited Dangerous Goods Transport Documents and Container Packing Certificate to OOCL at time of booking. Any expense/ penalty incurred due to incomplete or mis-description shall be for the account of shipper.
