Import Process

Arrival Notice

Arrival Notices will be sent to customer

  • 1 day before vessel arrival at port for short transit time shipment
  • 2 days before vessel arrival at port for long transit time shipment.

Delivery Order

Delivery Order will be released upon the submission of:

a)    payment of outstanding charges including Detention and Demurrage (Please contact our IB Desk to obtain necessary information)
 http://www.oocl.com/egypt/eng/localinformation/localcontacts/

b)    submission of relevant IB documentation

c)    duly endorsed Original Bill of Lading; or a proof of identity if a Sea Waybill and authorization letter  with proper signature and company chop notarized by recognized bank in case third party is appointed by consignee to take delivery.  

Merchant Haulage Arrangement

a)    By consignee who should submit a bank guarantee to cover safety of container during merchant haulage
