Re: Transfer of OOCL Terminal Office to MOA
Dear Valued Customers,
Please be informed that in line with Manila International Container Terminal (MICT)'s direction to streamline processes in the port and to promote most efficient way in managing transactions at MICT:
- Come New Year 2016, the Administration Building will be re-allocated to ICTSI, Government and Industry Association entities. In effect, all shipping line offices at the Administration Building will be removed eventually.
- As a replacement, shipping lines will be given access to a Business Lounge to conduct temporary work requirements related to "ACTIVE" vessel operations only. This means that there will be no permanent space assigned to each carrier. Instead, each carrier will be allowed to have access at the Business Lounge only during the time when they have live vessel at the port.
- Renovation of the WEST WING GROUND FLOOR will commence 4th quarter of this year in which OOCL terminal office is currently located.
Due to the above mentioned scenarios, we have decided to relocate all our terminal office transactions not related to active vessel operations from MICT Administration Building to our MOA office. Our assigned checkers will perform the same tasks during the same operating hours. Effective November 3, 2015 (Tuesday), inbound releasing and outbound receiving checkers will start to report in MOA office. And effective November 5, 2015 (Thursday), MICT office will be shutdown.
