Re:  Various Local Documentation Requirements

Dear Valued Customers,

Please be advised of the following various local documentation requirements for your quick reference.

Required HS Code Location

•           Ukraine – please indicate 6 digits HS code in the cargo description portion of your shipping instruction as required for shipment destined to Ukraine.

•           Italy – please indicate 6 digits HS code in the cargo description portion of your shipping instruction as required for shipment destined to or transship at Italy.

Requirement on new customer profile update (for new shipper/consignee/notify party in BL)

•           Egypt – Tax register number (9 digits) and Tax filling number (13-16 digits) are required to be indicated in the profile of company located in Egypt (either consignee and/or notify party in BL) 

Shipment destined to Moroccan

Common identifier of the company (ICE) & Tax identification (IF) of Moroccan consignee/notify party must be shown on BL. 

Shipment destined to South Sudan

Electronic Cargo Tracking Note for all shipments to/from South Sudan is required to be shown on Bill of Lading and Cargo Manifest from April 1, 2019 (date of Bill of Lading), cargo arriving without a valid ECTN will be blocked for delivery by the local customs in South Sudan and fines will raise to the shipping lines as well.

Unacceptable BL clause

The clause contains “LIEN/LIENS" is not acceptable because the Collateral Access Agreement is already in place.

 Sample clause - All goods are subject to the first priority liens of each of Wells Fargo Bank, National Association, as ABL Agent, and Wells Fargo Bank, National Association, as Term Loan Agent.
