貨物錯誤申報
敬告客戶：
安全運輸是業界首要遵守原則。最近，我們發現一些已進場或裝船重櫃，貨主 (或其代理) 錯誤申報貨物屬性，將危險品申報為普通貨品。我們在此提醒您， 一旦貨物的屬性被發現錯誤申報，貨主 (或其代理) 必須承擔因錯誤申報造成的檢驗費用、海關罰金及錯誤申報等費用。一切因貨主 (或其代理) 錯誤申報貨物屬性而引起的所有損失，包括財產，人身傷亡以及法律責任均由貨主 (或其代理) 承擔。
從2012年8月17日起， 危險品錯誤申報產生之處理及潛在危險損害費用將調整至每只貨櫃10,000美元。
我們特此提醒 貴公司注意，貨主 (或其代理) 在訂艙時均需提供清楚準確的貨物屬性，對於危險品，在接受訂艙之前需經申請並得到船東的裝載確認。

Mis-declaration of Cargo
Dear Customers:
Safety in cargo transportation is of company's paramount concern. Recently, we found some mis-description of cargo nature from General Cargo (GC) to Hazardous cargo (DG). We would like to remind you that once cargo nature is found to be mis-declared, the shipper or its agent shall be responsible for the mis-declaration fee as per our tariff rule. Any expense incurred for the inspection and or any customs penalty for such mis-declaration shall be on account of cargo. Shipper or its agent shall be further indemnify and hold OOCL harmless from and against all loss, damage, expense, actions and claims for injury to or death of persons and damage to property arising out of such mis-description.
With effect from Aug 17, 2012, the additional liquidated damage for hazardous cargo misdeclaration will be adjusted to USD10,000 per container.
We would like to have your attention on the importance of clear and accurate shipping information with cargo nature as declared by the shipper or its agents, must be provided to OOCL at time of booking as all DG cargoes are subject to ship owner's approval before cargo receipt.
