Customer Advisory: Canadian Pacific Rail – Teamsters Canada Rail Conference (TCRC) - Situation Update #4

The House of Commons passed bill C39 during the early hours this morning. While we all expect the bill will go to Senate and receive Royal Assent this evening, as per the media the process is stalled. At this point, Friday, June 1st will be the new target back to work date if the bill passes the Senate at all stages on Thursday, May 31st.

CPR Update
May 30th Bulletin
CPR has declared Force Majeure effective May 23rd, 2012.
As of May 23rd, 2012 CPR has stopped the clock on all import storage calculations. No charges will be assessed until operations resume.

CP Intermodal Terminal Updates - (please refer to CP website for operating hours)
Montreal - Lachine – extensive delay
Toronto - CP Vaughan – picket line with moderate delay
Edmonton - CP Edmonton – picket line with moderate delay
Vancouver - VIF – continued to be blocked, no truck activities at gate
CP Obico, Calgary, Saskatoon, Regina, Winnipeg – normal

Gateway update
Montreal – No new update from yesterday. Marine terminals remain fluid. Truck services continue to be used between Montreal and Toronto corridor where possible. Intermodal and cross-border cargo awaits CPR operation resumption.

Vancouver – No major change from yesterday. Marine terminals remain fluid. Daily conference call organized by Port Metro Vancouver among all stakeholders remains in effect.

TransPacific Imports
Dalian Express 071E – Arrived May 29th – vessel in operation
Houston Express 043E – ETA May 30th – as per schedule

TransPacific Exports
Colombo Express 045W – Sailed May 30th – as per schedule
Dalian Express 071W – ETD June 1st – as per schedule
Houston Express 043W – ETD June 5th - as per schedule
