Due to increased costs for road transport moving via Leeds and Manchester railheads we will be implementing increases to our haulage tariff for all cargo moving via these locations with effect from 1st October 2006.
The increases will be approx GBP 5 to 10 per 20/40GP & HQ.
This will effect all rate agreements or service contracts unless specifically identified that your haulage rate is fixed for the duration of your agreement. We suggest and invite you to check with your OOCL Area Sales Manager whether your traffic goes via these points and whether you will be affected. If you have any doubt on this issue, please give us a call.
Also from the 1st October 2006 there will be an increase in our Inland Fuel Surcharge from 8.75% to 9.07%, this will be on all haulage within the UK, again unless the surcharge has specifically been identified as a fixed within any rate agreement or service contract you may have with us.
