Please be advised that as a result of the ongoing piracy attacks in the Gulf of Aden, with effect from vessels sailing from 1st March 2009 we will introduce a surcharge as follows to recover additional expenses incurred:
Gulf of Aden Surcharge
- US $ 20 per 20 ft
- US $ 40 per 40 ft
This surcharge will be applied to all container types and all cargo transiting through this area. We will invoice this charge to the party responsible for paying the ocean freight.
