Changes to Detention Tariff

Customers are advised that our Detention tariff for Merchant Haulage will change on 1 October 2009. This applies for both Exports and Imports.

The new tariff structure is outlined below.

Equip Size Equip Type Amount £ Sterling Tier Days / Remarks
20 / 40 / 45 GP / Hi-Cube £20 per contr per day No Tier
20 / 40 Reefer / Special Equip £80 per contr per day No Tier

For rating purposes, the Shipment Date for Detention is defined as follows:-

Imports

Transatlantic Trade: Cargo Receipt Date at the First Laden (Outbound) Hub
All other Trades: Full Gate-Out Date at the Last Laden (Inbound) Hub        

Exports

Transatlantic Trade: Empty Gate-Out Date
All other Trades: Empty Gate-Out Date
