As we are all aware, the cost of fuel has continued to rise over the last few months. Whilst we have been able to maintain our fuel surcharge at 11% since August we now have no alternative other than to implement a further small adjustment to 13%.
This increase will take effect as of October 15th and applies to all carrier haulage within the United Kingdom and Ireland unless otherwise stated in the rate agreement or service contract that covers the shipment concerned.
At the same time, our UK Genset surcharge will increase to £95. The charge will only apply when a Genset is requested by the party booking the transport. We take advantage of this opportunity to remind you that our Import haulage tariff is now available on our website here. From this page this you will be able to access import haulage rates plus all our inland tariff surcharges. We welcome your feedback on this recently launched service. Our Export haulage tariffs will follow in the future.
