We would like to make our valued customers aware of various changes to our tariff structure.
Advance manifesting charges for shipments to North America will change on 1st July 2010 from the previous US Dollar amounts to the following Sterling levels:
| B/L Issue Location | Security Manifest Documentation Charge | Security Manifest Amendment Charge |
| UK | GBP 25 per B/L | GBP 40 per Amendment Request |
| Ireland | EUR 20 per B/L | EUR 30 per Amendment Request |
Advance manifesting charges for shipments to China will also be aligned to the above amounts i.e.
| B/L Issue Location | China24 Advance Manifesting Charge | China 24 Advance Manifesting Amendment Charge |
| UK | GBP 25 per B/L | GBP 40 per Amendment Request |
| Ireland | EUR 20 per B/L | EUR 30 per Amendment Request |
These changes mean that customers will now have one standardised fee for advance manifesting and amendments, regardless of the shipment destination.
The Change of Destination administration fee for diverted Transatlantic shipments was updated on 3rd April 2010. This surcharge is explained in full in our Global Tariff Rule 11, however in simple terms it becomes due if there is a change in the Port of Discharge or the Final Inland Destination. The fee is not applied if there is just a change in the final destination from Door to Port, or Port to Door.
For the Transatlantic trade, the Change of Destination administration fee for cargo originally destined to the UK or Ireland is now GBP 120 per B/L for the UK, and EUR 140 per B/L for Ireland. For cargo originally destined to Canada the charge will be CAN$ 210 per B/L, and for cargo originally destined to the USA the charge will remain USD 200 per B/L.
For all other trades there is no change, and the Change of Destination administration fee remains USD 200 per B/L regardless of original destination.
To avoid incurring this surcharge, customers are encouraged to communicate directly with their Shipper or Consignee to ensure that the Booking and B/L are issued to the correct final destination from the outset.
All the changes mentioned above will apply to all bookings and B/Ls unless explicitly agreed otherwise in the prevailing rate agreement or Service Contract.
For rating purposes, the shipment dates are defined as:-
| Trade | Shipment Date Definition |
| Asia Europe | On Board Date |
| Transatlantic | Cargo Received Date |
| Australia / New Zealand | On Board Date |
| Intra Europe | Sailing Date |
All local surcharges can be viewed here for the UK and here for Ireland.
