Payment of Charges by Cheque

Dear Valued Customer,

We would like to draw your attention to forthcoming changes to our system for accepting payment of outstanding charges by cheque, effective 1st August 2010.

Whilst this method will remain an option, it will only be available on a ‘cleared funds’ basis. Customers who wish to continue using this method, will no longer be able to fax a copy cheque to us to gain release of their cargo. Cheques must be received and cleared funds available in our account, prior to release being given. Therefore, it is of the utmost importance that you present your cheque at least 5 working days prior to release being required, in order that the process may be completed in good time.

To assist our valued customers in obtaining release at the earliest opportunity, we would like to suggest the following alternative payment methods:

BACS & CHAPS Transfer

HSBC Bank PLC
