Customers are advised that OOCL is no longer be able to offer a Methyl Bromide fumigation service for export containers. This follows a ban per regulation (EC) No 1005/2009 of 16 September 2009 on substances that deplete the ozone layer, and Council Directive 91/414/EEC.

Shippers to Australia and New Zealand are recommended to use ISPM 15 compliant wood packaging material for export loading instead.
