Snow Disruption Update

Today's operational update is as follows:-

Terminals
Southampton - shipside working; landside working, but with restricted VBS and some rail connection failures
Thamesport, Liverpool, Grangemouth and Greenock - operational

Railheads
Manchester - handling imports, but not exports or empties as congested
Leeds - handling imports and exports, but not empties as congested
Cardiff, Birmingham and Liverpool - operational
Coatbridge - limited operations, not handling empties
Daventry - working but slow

Depots
Manchester & Southampton - operational
Liverpool - handling reefers out only

Transport Movements
Journey times are increased due to many roads still being slow or impassable. Customers are being kept informed about late running vehicles via either our automated Truckcom product or Customer Service. Most of today's jobs have been covered. Late runners and cancelations are being monitored and rebooked as appropriate. Next week the focus will be on getting operations back to as normal a situation as possible.

Office Coverage
Our recovery plan continues. Remote computer access for key staff has meant they have been able to carry on with core business activities if they have been unable to get in to the office. Levington office is manned, but with a skeleton staff - please see below for contingency arrangements.

How to Contact Us
Given that some staff may be working from home, we encourage all customers to contact us by email using the functional addresses published on our UK website in Local Contacts. This will give us the best chance of meeting your needs and responding to you promptly. Emergency numbers are also provided on this page.

We also recommend customers use the various electronic products available through our website and My OOCL Center to check things like vessel status, rates of exchange etc.

We hope this update has been helpful, and we will keep you informed as and when service issues arise and should the weather and transportation issues continue into the days ahead. We thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult period.
