Bangladesh - Time retardation

Bangladesh clock advances by 1 hour
Bangladesh Government has decided to advance the clock by 1 hour to save one hour extra daylight due to acute shortage of Electricity throughout the country. This will be effective from (00:00 Hrs of 20th June 2009 will become 01:00 Hrs of 20 June 2009) till further revision by the Government. Local Mean time will become = GMT+7 hours.

China’s 24 hour Advanced Manifest Regulation Update

Port Channel is clear from the wreck of Sunken coaster vessel
Finally the wreck of the sunken coaster vessel (Mv. Seven Circle-25) has been removed on 4th May 2009 from the main approach channel of Chittagong Port & the channel is now clear. The Port’s dredger vessel will dredge the Silts & Muds accumulated around the wreck’s place which will take one or two days more & then Port Authority will declare the channel as fully safe & back to original permissible draught for incoming & outgoing vessels.

CPA Resumed
Chittagong Port Authority has resumed normal vessel movements (Berthing & Unberthing) during Daylight tides from 26th April 2009 A.M tide. No restrictions on Vessel’s length & draught. But still Night Navigations (Vessels berthing / Unberthing) at Night tides are restricted till the wreck of sunken vessel is removed from the channel.
