1.2 Email Booking
- Simply fill in our booking form as following:
Shipping Order and Haulage Form (for both Hong Kong and South China)
- For Dangerous Goods / Hanging Garments and Reefer shipment, please also fill in the related Dangerous / Hanging Garment ./ Reefer form (as per item 1.1 in above-mentioned) together with the booking form and send to our dedicated email address at ohkbbkg@oocl.com (for Dangerous and Hanging Garment) / ohklrfcsd@oocl.com (for Reefer) shipment respectively.
- If space is available, we will release the Booking Acknowledgement (BA) to you within 2 working hours. (R).
(excepted for Dangerous and Special cargo which is need to obtain the ship owner / port authority approval before release the Booking Acknowledgement to you)
(R) Time for returning the BA may be up to 4-5 working hours during peak season. We encourage our customers to use the eBooking service which will help speed up the booking process.
1.3 Booking Amendment
- For Reefer Cargo
Please fill and send the booking amendment with using the standard template (outlook / rich text format) via email to our dedicated email address at ohklrfcsd@oocl.com for amendment request. We will complete and release the Booking Acknowledgement to you within 2 working hours upon receiving your booking amendment request.
- For Dangerous and Special Cargo which required for getting ship owner / port authority approval
Please fill and send the booking amendment with using the standard template (outlook / rich text format) via email to our dedicated email address at ohkbbkg@oocl.com for amendment request. We will complete and release the Booking Acknowledgement to you after obtained the approval from the related party.
- For General Cargo
- Before receive our Booking Acknowledgement (BA) - any booking amendment is required after submitted the booking, please fill and send the booking amendment with using the standard template (outlook / rich text format) via email to our dedicated email address at ohkbbkg@oocl.com for amendment request. We will complete and release the booking acknowledgement to you within 2 working hours upon receiving your booking amendment request.
- After received our Booking Acknowledgement (BA) - any booking amendment is required after received our Booking Acknowledgement, please fill and send the booking amendment with using the standard template (outlook / rich text format) via email to our dedicated email address as per below listed. We will complete and return the Booking Acknowledgement to you within 2 working hours upon receiving your booking amendment request.
Point to Note:

For Dangerous goods (DG) booking, it needs two working days for getting approval upon receipt of full set and completed DG information. In which, a completed DG Certificate is a must.

For Awkward goods (AW) booking, it needs two working days for getting approval upon receipt of full set and completed AW information. Proactively provide more cargo pictures / documentations about your goods would be helpful to shorten the approval time.

A valid rate agreement number must be provided at time of booking, thus your prompt confirmation would be much appreciated and enable us to handle your booking promptly.

Manual booking fee will be applied when booking submitted neither by EDI or via OOCL's on-line portal. The fee will be payable together with other prepaid local charges prior to release of B/L.
