​Next Generation Firewall Adoption at OOCL

OOCL is adopting Next Generation Firewall to enable social networking on Windows, Mac, and mobile devices in the corporate network.  The Next Generation Firewall enables application level visibility, manageability and security protection that traditional firewalls do not support.  User-level access control and usage report is also available.  It opens up new ways of reaching customers, partners and supports social collaboration within and outside the enterprise.  The Next Generation Firewall will also be a core component in OOCL’s global Internet VPN infrastructure.  OOCL will implement the Next Generation Firewall from Palo Alto Networks at 48 offices worldwide.  The deployment will be completed by the end of 2011.
