OOCL Stops Shipping Shark, Whale, Dolphin, and Their Related Products

On February 15, we issued a corporate message to inform our customers that OOCL will not accept cargo bookings for whale, shark, dolphin, and their related products with immediate effect.  This new policy in place shows our commitment to sustainability and best practices in the industry.  We have revised our Special Cargo Acceptance and Handling Policy to reflect this update.

This blanket ban has been warmly welcomed by conservation groups and animal protection organizations alike who thanked us for our firm demonstration in corporate social responsibility.
