OOCL and WHL Announce Enhancements in their Joint China/Middle East Service

Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) and Wan Hai Lines Ltd (WHL) today announced the following service enhancement in their joint service between China and the Middle East. This enhancement is in response to customer demand and will help to focus the service on an ever growing market sector between China and the Middle East. The transit time will be up to three days faster between major ports, with the deployment of six 1,800-teu/22-knots vessels providing a very fast and reliable quality service.
 
The new service port rotations are as follows:
 
Shanghai (Sun/Tue), Dalian (Wed/Wed), Xingang Thu/Fri), Qingdao (Sat/Sat), Ningbo (Sun/Mon), Hong Kong (Wed/Thu), Shekou (Thu/Thu), Singapore (Sun/Mon), Port Klang (Tue/Wed), Jebel Ali (Wed/Wed), Karachi (Fri/Sat), Nhava Sheva(Sun/Mon), Port Klang (Sat/Sun), Singapore (Mon/Tue), Hong Kong (Fri/Fri), and back to Shanghai.

The first sailing of the new service will depart from Shanghai on April 16th
