OOCL is celebrating the European maiden calls of OOCL Shenzhen. OOCL Shenzhen, is a SX class vessel, with the largest declared capacity of the world at 8,063 TEUs.
The vessel arrived from Asia in Southampton on June 3rd before proceeding to Hamburg and Rotterdam. OOCL Shenzhen operates in OOCL’s existing China Europe Express Loop of the Asia Europe Service of the Grand Alliance.

OOCL so far has two 8,000 TEU SX Class newbuildings scheduled for delivery in 2003, four for delivery during 2004 and a further two for delivery in 2005.
