OOCL Shenzhen Maiden Call to Shenzhen, PRC

OOCL Shenzhen, the largest vessel of the OOCL container fleet at 8,063 TEUs, sailed into Yantian Terminal, Shenzhen today on her maiden voyage to Europe.

OOCL Shenzhen was christened in Korea on 30th April, 2003 by Mrs Irene Chang, wife of Mr TR Chang, CEO of Orient Overseas Container Line Ltd. OOCL Shenzhen commenced her maiden voyage by calling at Shanghai, Xiamen and then Shenzhen under OOCL’s China Europe Express Loop of the Asia Europe Service of the Grand Alliance.

OOCL Shenzhen will call Hong Kong, Singapore next in Asia and then on to Europe through the Suez Canal.
