International Maritime Organization (IMO), International Labour Organization (ILO) and United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) jointly published the non-mandatory “Code of Practice for the Packing of Cargo Transport Units” (CTU Code), to facilitate the proper packing, transport and unpacking of cargo transport units (CTUs), including freight containers.
To prevent costly damages to the cargo, ensuring safety of the personnel involved in the movement of the goods and protection of the environment, OOCL Logistics has designed a set of Posters and Signs to illustrate the proper stuffing of and points to observe during the preparation of the transport unit.
