Please submit the shipping instruction (SI) to us on/ before the SI cutoff which is published in our sailing schedule at

You may submit the SI using the following methods:

3.1 Electronic Shipping Instruction (eSI)

To submit eSI, register at My OOCL Center, you can:  

• Ensure data accuracy  
• Receive a draft B/L copy in 1 working day after completed & correct SI received excluding shipment to USA, Canada & Europe shipments.
• Receive a draft B/L copy in 4 working hours after vessel departure for shipment to USA, Canada, Europe and Japan shipments.

3.2 Email Submission

• Fill in SI details in your own format with company letterhead or company chop
• Use our dedicated SI template and send email to our dedicated email address
• Receive a Draft copy of bill of lading for checking within 1 working day after SI submission, and or 1 working day after vessel sailing whichever is later.
• For shipment export from Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Yunnam Provinces that is required to show NVOCC or NVOCC on behalf of actual shipper as B/L shipper. Please provide the NVOCC license number which registered in Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China.
• Manual SI fee will be applied if SI submitted neither by EDI or via OOCL's on-line portal. The fee will be payable together with other prepaid local charges prior to release of B/L.

4. SI e-Acknowledgement 

If you register at My OOCL Center and set up email subscriptions, you will receive an auto email within 1 hour to confirm that the SI has been received by OOCL.  For more information, please contact our Customer Service Department to enable this service.

5. Bill of Lading Amendment

If Bill Of Lading amendment is required, please

• Mark the amendment details on the B/L copy and return to us by email. 
• Amendment will be completed within 2 working hours.
