OOCL is delighted to announce that we have been awarded the Liner Trade Award to Europe in the 5th Annual Lloyd's List DCN Australian Shipping and Maritime Industry Awards, held in Sydney, Australia on November 25, 2010.
OOCL has been selected as “Vendor of the Year 2010” from Mallory Dallas Cotton Division and Mallory Alexander International Logistics in Atlanta.
OOCL is pleased to announce our participation in the Fair Winds Charter, a voluntary shipping industry initiative which has been facilitated by the Hong Kong Liner Shipping Association, Hong Kong Shipowners Association, and Civic Exchange (a Hong Kong-based independent think tank). OOCL vessels will switch to 0.5% or less sulphur fuel in the auxiliary engines of our vessels while at berth in Hong Kong from 1 January 2011 until 31 December 2012.
OOCL has demonstrated its industry leadership in innovative IT solutions with the launch of Mobile Rates of Exchange for valued customers. The inbound and outbound rates of exchange for a particular port can be accessed from the convenience of a mobile phone.

To help customers get ready for the new European regulations, OOCL organized a seminar which was the first of its kind to be organized by a container shipping company in Hong Kong. Some 100 customers attended the briefing during two sessions throughout the day.
OOCL won the Environment Protection Award at the Seatrade China Awards Ceremony held in Dalian on October 13, 2010.

OOCL is pleased to announce introduction of the new Atlantic Express Shuttle (AES) offering a weekly sprint service between Antwerp and New York. Service will commence ex Antwerp on Tuesday, September 14 and ex New York on Saturday, September 25. Transit time will be 9 days.
OOCL Green Week, held annually in July in 55 countries around the world, highlights the importance of environmental protection in the communities where OOCL staff live and work. The 2010 theme was “Acting Green”.

OOCL is pleased to announce that the OOCL Carbon Calculator is now available on Mobile OOCL.com, from June 23, 2010. The innovative new service can be accessed by all major mobile systems and smart phones, including but not limited to: Windows Mobile, Blackberry, Symbian, iPhone and Android.
OOCL is pleased to announce the extension of the KTX3 service on the Intra-Asia trade, with effect from June 27, 2010. The extended KTX3 service will now call at Singapore, Jakarta and Port Kelang, and will provide increased frequency to and from Jakarta.

OOCL is delighted to announce the launch of the OOCL Carbon Calculator on April 27, 2010. The calculator is designed to assist OOCL customers in measuring the carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions in their supply chain. OOCL’s carbon calculator is the first emissions calculator of its kind to offer multiple shipment searches, and full intermodal data using actual emissions figures from OOCL ships.
